What is Internet of Things (IOT)?
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. Simply put, it is the concept of basically connecting any device with an on and off switch to the Internet.
Town of Webb School and Par Technology have partnered up to bring IOT technology into the school district this year. The school has received four temperature sensors that will be used for collecting and analysing data around the school for student and staff instructional use and temperature monitoring. Below are links to each of the four sensor that we've deployed around the school which will show the data being collected in five minute intervals.
